    It usually comes down to aesthetics and optimization. It's very challenging to create convincing VFX, and doubly so to match Trove's unique visual style. Optimization is also difficult. It's a dynamic, nuanced process - there are no hard rules to follow for things like particle size, emission rates, etc. You have to take into account how the effect is being used, and how long it's on screen.After processing several VFX mods, I feel the process is best left to someone who has several years of professional experience.
